Avicenna (Ibn Sina)
Doctorate Awards

Inspired by the extraordinary legacy of Avicenna (Ibn Sina), the Avicenna Doctorate Awards 2026 recognise outstanding global achievement across intellectual, scientific, humanitarian and leadership fields. Formerly known as the Avicenna Gold Medal, the Avicenna Doctorate is a distinguished honour presented by the Brain Trust Charity (Registration No. 1001012) to acknowledge individuals whose work demonstrates excellence, integrity and transformative impact.

Avicenna, one of the most influential polymaths of the Islamic Golden Age, authored nearly 450 treatises spanning medicine, philosophy, science and ethics. His masterpiece, The Canon of Medicine, shaped medical education for centuries. In that same spirit of scholarship, innovation and human progress, the Avicenna Doctorate Awards uphold the highest standards of achievement and service to humanity.

Proudly launched by Ambitions Fulfilled, the Avicenna Doctorate Awards 2026 aim to honour exceptional individuals from diverse paths of life. These awards are open to all communities, colours and cultures, both within the United Kingdom and internationally. Anyone may nominate a deserving candidate, including self-nominations, in accordance with the official 2026 categories.
